The Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra had it's debut season in 1993. Starting out as an orchestra of about 40 members, the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra continued to grow and saw many changes which would be attributed to its success to date. Some of those changes included a full time executive director and the establishment of a Board. Under the musical direction of Michael Hall the Associate Conductor, of the Pacific Symphony, the PSYO continues to flourish and has become the premier Youth Orchestra of Orange County. In his last season, Hall will have seen the Orchestra at its best with its highest number of applicants to date and will take the Orchestra on its first tour to Germany and the Czech Republic, after which he will bid a fond farewell to Pacific Symphony.
